"Let's Make A Deal"

In this Topsy Turvy economy, it seems that the mode of negotiating for virtually everything is on the burner... I went to Macy's and save another 25% off my Holiday shopping after saving first 50% off. After that, I opened a store credit card just to save another 25% off that purchase. The middle savings came from asking the salesperson for a discount...
My valued clients ask me the same thing. Can I have something more? The answer is Yes and No. It depends on the cruise line and the deal... There are some factors leading to some additional opportunities where we can do more for you. It's not clear cut. I encourage you to ask for more details...
There is another piece of this Topsy Turvy puzzle taking place where the client asks me to go to the vendor and asked to be upgraded or receive an added bonus for being a past guest. Well this phenomenon, while increasing in activity, has not led to any granted requests by the cruise lines. This for the reason that pricing is already fair for most cruise product. Cruise lines use electronic measures to price cruises (up and down) based on supply and demand. Just like the airlines, pricing is fluid. Cruises continue to be a great vacation value and have been under priced for years. The value for cruises continues in 2009. Remember that incredible cruise from Panama I spoke about in a recent blog that is an 8-day cruise in April starting at a very low one hundred and forty bucks? Holy smokes!!!!
